Planning a wedding is stressful. The first question that comes to mind is the location. Choosing a wedding venue in Spain should be considered ahead of time, though some soon-to-get married couples prepare the wedding dress, groom’s suit, groomsmen’ tuxedos, and bridesmaids’ gowns.

After all, it’s the space to say the vows, seal the love, and enjoy the biggest days of life with a special someone. It really makes sense to take time to choose the right Spain wedding venues. But deciding to get married is not a simple task. Keep reading to have a clearer picture of what to do.

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, there are so many decisions to make including where to have it.

So where do you begin? I’m Felicia yap and I’m going to share three ways on how to start your wedding venue search.

Number one, fix the guest list. That means sitting down and really thinking who are you are going to invite and who doesn’t make the cut. Venues can take fewer people but not necessarily more. So go with the venue that fits the numbers.

Number two, set the budget. A lot of your wedding venue will depend on money, money, money. How much can you really afford and how much do you want to spend? You can even seek the help of a wedding planner who may have ideas of wedding venues you might not have even thought about.

Lastly, decide on the atmosphere. Do you want an intimate celebration or a large party? An outdoor wedding or an indoor one? Follow your heart and hopefully the venues will follow.

So as you start to search for your wedding venue start with three things: fix your guest list, set the budget and decide on the atmosphere, that way you can really narrow down your options so you don’t waste a lot of time before your big day.
